It's two great toys in one! As a sturdy, stable walker, the Step Start Walk n' Ride from PlaySkool helps babies learn to stand, take their first steps, and walk.
Then it easily converts to a first ride-on toy! It has a locking mechanism that only parents can activate, so children can't change modes by themselves.
Kids can explore the hands-on activities in both the walker and ride-on modes to see fascinating sights, hear silly sounds and touch interesting textures.

We were given one of these for our 1 year old recently he doesnt walk yet so we thought it would be great to encourage him to walk and also as a ride on toy. He has 3 other ride on toys so this one is kept in the walking position at this stage although as a ride on it is really good as it is quite low to the ground so good for the little ones to be able to reach the floor to pull themselves along.
It took him a while to get used to walking behind this and being able to control it as as he stood behind it and put his hand on the bar it would just take off at a million miles an hour and he would end up flat on the floor. Now he can walk behind it and if it starts going to fast he can slow it down too meaning he doesnt have to run faster than his legs can carry him.
On the front of the toy is a little compartment that he likes to put his little toys in side to take them for a ride but the compartment lid comes off all the time when he opens it and then I need to clip it back on so can be a bit annoying, but it is still safe as it is not a little part that he could choke on that comes off.
