Pinky/gold salmon coloured with a subtle strawberry aroma, intermingled with an underlying yeasty, toasty bouquet. A careful blending of the base wines has resulted in a full palate with an elegant finesse.
The wine has a hint of sweetness which complements the subtle, lingering taste of strawberries.

Whenever I want to celebrate, a sparkling bubbly like Lindauer is in order, and Fraise is one of my favourite ones. I love berry flavoured things and strawberry in particular, so to find a yummy strawberry bubbly like this is delicious. I like that it still tastes like wine, and it isn't overly sweet like some flavoured bubbly can be.
I have been known to serve this over summer, in a flute with a cut fresh strawberry in the top. It's also great with a little lemonade as a cocktail. It makes an excellent addition to your summer punch bowl too. I have had it as the star guest of a champagne breakfast as well, yum yum!
Recently I got a cupcake book that called for some bubbly in one of the recipes. So I tried a cup of this bubbly in the recipe. It gave the cupcake an amazing flavour. It had that boozy sort of quality, but the strawberry came through nicely into the otherwise vanilla cake. Also the cake was so moist and it didn't dry out even a few days after when other cupcakes would have been stale.
I will continue to buy this bubbly as it is delicious and versatile. It is often on special, and it's something I love to indulge in on a special occasion.
I love sparkling wine and I like it to be as sweet as possible so it is easy to drink which sometimes is a problem as it means I drink them too quickly. I really like this strawberry flavoured wine as it is nice and sweet but is not like a cheap pre mixed drink that has a really artificial flavour.
It can be quite cheap on special and is good for drinking on special occasions such as Christmas with a strawberry in the glass for decoration. The strawberry also tastes great when you have finished the glass of wine and eat it as it has soaked up the wine taste. I think on special you can get it for around $10 a bottle so it is really affordable.
The bottles are 750mls so are a decent sized too so you can share it with someone else. I find if I get one of these by myself I can not finish the whole bottle and you can't really keep it as it goes flat and not very nice if you leave it open in the fridge so it is definetly a wine I share with someone else.
