When I saw this set I thought it would be prefect for my 3 year old son, he loves books, cars and playmats. This set i found for half price so I was really happy about that.

I love how it comes in a case that holds everything it needs, the 12 figurines, 4 books and a playmat, so easy to put away on the bookshelf and easy for master 3 to clean up.

The books are just the prefect size for little kids hands, they are bright with awesome pictures. The figurines look like the transport in the books, which makes it easy for them to play and pretend they are acting out the books, sadly the playmat doesn't have all the areas in the books. The books all seem to be about friends and taking care of each other, which is a great thing to teach young children.

The figurines are again nice and small and prefect for little hands, there are no moving parts on them which upset my son to start off with cause he wanted to push the cars along and let them glide and they wouldn't do that, so has to push them along. They are small enough to hide under couches and low to the ground tables which can be a pain when cleaning up and you cant find one or two. I have found though putting them away brings counting into it, we count together 12 figurines to make sure they are all back in the box. They are also great bright colours and we all love bright colours.

This is a great package and I would recommend it to all little ones, boys and girls. The price is high but its fully worth it for the enjoyment and watching the fun on your child's face, I actually have fun with it too and enjoy reading the books with my son.

Product reviews for listing 4977: Close to the Bone
Written by Stuart MacBride

Product image for Close to the BoneThe third consecutive No.1 bestselling crime novel from the author of the DI Logan McRae series and Birthdays for the Dead. The first body is chained to a stake: strangled, and stabbed, with a burning tyre around its neck. But is this a gangland execution or something much darker?

Someone's leaving little knots of bones outside Detective Inspector Logan McRae's house, but he's got more pressing things to worry about. ... more...
