Although this shampoo is expensive compared to the brands that you would find at the supermarket, if you have bleached blonde hair then it is worth it.

The purple shampoo is fantastic for getting rid of those pesky brassy tones that can occur with bleached hair. I have naturally light brown hair that throws a strawberry blonde type tone. I regularly get my hair lightened by a professional using the L'oreal lightener and often my hair will also require a toner following this.

There is also a conditioner and a treatment in this range, I use this at least once a week and then use the much cheaper L'oreal branded shampoos that you can buy at the supermarket for the rest of my washes.

The shampoo is gentle enough to be used regularly. It doesn't dry out my hair like other purple shampoo's do.

I would thoroughly recommend investing in both the shampoo and the conditioner in this range.

To anyone out there with bleached blonde hair or highlights this is the shampoo for you!! This was recommend to me a few years ago by my hairdresser and i have used it over and over ever since. There is also a conditioner to match and a in shower treatment.

I have highlighted hair (with bleach to achieve blonde) and my natural colour is dark brown so pretty much every time i get my hair done i tend to get unwanted yellow tones (or ginga as i call it). I use this purple shampoo after my hair has been coloured a couple of times (say 3 washes spaced out over 2days per wash)and i find that is enough to tone my hair to how i want it and i then go back to supermarket brand shampoo/conditioner. I only do this because i do find the product quite expensive to buy. I will occasionally over the 6-8week period before i get my hair coloured again use the shampoo just to give my colour a 'freshen' up :)

Definately does the job it needs to for me and i havent tried many other similar products as i love this one to much! Definately recommend to others with the warning to make sure you wash it out properly or you'll end up with a purple tinge! :)
