At the heart of ProducePronto are two young kiwi families who have known each other for years and are great friends: Jase and Leelee, Josh and Stace. Josh and Jase went to school together in Auckland (some time ago) and Stace and Leelee went to Uni together and were friends long before they met the lads (tis a small world).
Jase and Leelee (J&L) were kind enough to let Josh and Stace (J&S) "doss" on the couch of their London studio flat in 2005 for 6 weeks, and despite Josh being banished to the hallway for incessant snoring, it was blatantly obvious that they worked well as a team and looked out for each other through thick and thin.
J&L were first to move back home, settle down and start their family in NZ. J&S then moved back and the two lads found themselves working together in Newmarket (that small world again). During a casual conversation about the lack of decent produce in Auckland, producepronto.co.nz was born.
NOTE: Only available in Whitford, Beachlands or Maraetai at this stage.

What can I say about this online fruit and vege shop. Well Amazing is one word I can use.
This makes shopping so much easier for my fruit and vegetables, I dont have to drag two kids out every 3-4 days to get more and top up my supply. I can get online and pick a range of fruits, veges, salads, they have some herbs, breads, nuts and coffee.
There are many ways you can order it all, you can pick it all yourself and pop what you like in your basket, you can also chose a gift box for yourself or for someone else as a gift. You get a good range of veges and fruit depending on the gift box you get.
I tend to get the $40 box it suits me with 2 young kids, I sometimes get extra things that arent in the boxes. The fruit and veges are good, I have never had fruit or veges go off, they come to you either slightly under ripe and some ripe so you get the time and they dont go off quick.
Another bonus with this company if you order before 4pm you get it the next day. I haven't tried that with weekends though. I also like the pronto cash when you order, you get to save that up and use it when you wish too, I havent yet done this part. The delivery is free for over $30 which again is a love for me, and it comes nicely packed.
Overall I will use this way of ordering my fruit and veges for times to come, being a busy mum of two young kiddies and of course for that lovely ripe fresh food
