Shadow is up to something with the water supply but what could it possibly have to do with the filming of a new action movie?
Special Agent EJ12 needs to keep her eye on the big picture. She needs to infiltrate the movie set and stop Shadow before it is too late. That's the easy part. As EJ12, Emma Jacks can do anything.
So why is she getting worked up over little things? Perhaps she isn't, after all.

EJ12 'Drama Queen' is the 8th book in the ej12 series. It is based on Emma Jack trying to save the towns water supply from being destroyed by the enemy, 'shadow'.
My 9year old daughter read the book and she thought that Emma Jack was pretty awesome as she's a primary school girl just like her who doubles as a spy for 'shine'. Her mum being a retired spy is pretty cool too.
Trying to crack the codes within the book was a good challenge and fun.
I read the book myself and thought it was a well written kids book, full of excitement and trying to crack the codes was fun.
Recommend ages 8 - 15.
EJ12 Drama queen is the 8th instalment in this series which is about a young girl working for a spy agency as a decoder. In this book she's called to investigate the links between a movie being shot and the disappearing towns water supply.
After skimming through it to get an idea of what it was like it was very easy to read, with large type set. There are even some simple puzzles/codes that you can work on even though they are explained in the story, but it was fun for my daughter to give them a go.
My seven year old daughter really enjoyed reading this and can not wait to get the next one in the series.
