Whoo-hoo, here we are the penultimate book in this wonderful and riveting series.
We finally get to confirm all our suspicions about the twin babies (I mean it's been pretty obvious really), Cal is still trying to find some way to get to Ireland, and of course the net is getting even tighter around Cal.
This was once again a very well written book, with suspense and danger carefully scattered throughout the book.
Also Cal finally meet Eric Blair, and with this meeting comes a shocking discovery, one that goes all the way back to the very first book. As well as this Cal has a nice wee heart-to-heart with his uncle Rafe.
As we all know by know each book finishes with a cliffhanger ending, and by and large they have been very similar, with Cal being in trouble each time bar once when it was Gabbi his sister in trouble, well the ending of this book will have you on the edge of your seat as well as have you wanting the final book to come alot quicker.
This series just seems to be getting better and better, and as the last book approaches I just know it will be a real doozy.
So close, and yet so far... only one book to go until the grand finale and I still have no idea what the Ormond Singularity it or how Cal is going to get to Ireland or what everyone's part in in this grand conspiracy. Still, November's installation was no disappointment in the thrills department. The police are tightening their net and the local criminals are getting smarter... it was cool to find out the truth about the twin babies, but it was really only the stuff that had been pretty obvious to me since April or May... so the crucial questions still haven't been answered - Who killed Cal's father? Who had the babies kidnapped? Where is this all going? Will Cal and Winter ever get together? (I am guessing no...)
*sigh* What kind of teenagers are these if they don't have time for totally inappropriate romance in the middle of a life or death adventure?
With baited anticipation - bring on December so I can finally work out what this was all about.
