The heart-pumping story of the innocent, yet wanted, 15-year-old Callum Ormond continues in the 7th book of the Conspiracy 365 series. When I got this book I was very keen to start reading it as I was very eager to find out what happened since the ending of June left my excitement hanging in the air. Unlike books 1-6, the cover of this one was a lot easier to understand the pictures while I was reading the story, whereas the covers of the other books in the series were hard to understand.

Even when I had read the whole story I still had no idea how the pictures tied in with the story. The covers colour scheme looked a bit on the dull side, but it didn't change the fact that it sill looked great. I thought that most of the storyline was exciting as almost every page brought me closer to finding out the truth about the mysterious Ormond singularity, which I am rather keen to do. I would recommend this book to to people 9 years and over as the storyline contains a slight hint of violence in it, but its only a little so it's not all that bad.

Even though the books in this series are normally a quick read, it took me quite a bit of time to finish July, but it just gave me more time to soak up all the adrenaline and excitement, and I'm looking forward to reading it again. I must say the book ended in a rather worrying situation that seemed really difficult to get out of, but the bright side is that it makes me even more curious to find out what happens in book 8.

July is an awesome book full of action and danger, so it is something you are sure to enjoy, and an absolute MUST for those who have already read books 1-6!

With ever more stunning and slightly unlikely moments of death defying adventure, Cal Ormond begins to unravel the clues while wondering if this crazy life will ever go back to normal (or if he will die first). Being on the run, his social network is admittedly quite small - his best friend Boges and his unlikely ally Winter are about it. It doesn't help that the two of them hate each other.
As the months go by, I can't help but wish that Cal would figure out some of the more obvious clues without so much deliberation (like the connection between his look-a-like and the newspaper clipping at his great uncle's house). Still, things are beginning to get interesting and I really would like to know what the Ormond Singularity really is (though if is just a big stack of money I will feel horribly cheated).
Yet another cliffhanger ending (though that is hardly a surprise at this point). If you already like the series, this is a solid next chapter. If you haven't started yet, you won't be completely lost picking it up half way, but I would recommend starting at the beginning.

Slowly but surely this series is starting to really capture me. The story is starting to reveal key pieces of the big puzzle that surrounds the Ormond family, and it's legacy, the Ormond Riddle, the Ormond Jewel... and most importantly, the Ormond Singularity.

In this instalment, Callum is confronted with echos of his recent past, faced with realisations about the company he keeps when his true friends aren't right there beside him, and presented with some amazingly difficult choices... some of which could lead him further into trouble than he could ever imagine.

As the plot heats up, the clues are starting to come together faster. Many of the drawings now reveal hints as to their intended meaning, and a visit to a lost relative could prove far more surprising, informative, and deadly, than Cal could ever wish for. He's still on the run, everyone wants him... either in their power, in prison, or dead.

Overall, this series is shaping up to be one very clever tale... but I tell you, I'd hate to be this kid... as the end of each month rolls around, his life starts to look awfully short all of a sudden... it's like he cursed.
