Erm, yeah... I have a lot of cables around my desk at work, and also in the workshop at home. I also have a toddler who 'visits' daddy in both locations... so I *NEED* to have something to deal with cables... and this fit the bill perfectly.

Simple to use, entirely effective, and utterly toddler-proof, this was the answer to many a prayer! So effective was it that I simply had to go out and buy more so that I could entirely encapsulate the entire web of cables I have accumulated.

The bit that really impressed me was how easy they are to cut down for smaller lengths. Many years ago I tried another cable-ptoection system and found it almost impossible to cut without using a hacksaw. These, I was able to trim to fit using only a standard pair of office scissors!

Overall, utterly brilliant. The design is flexible enough to allow the cables to bend naturally in smooth curves, preventing any of those annoying kinks in the wires that can lead to trouble (Unless I take 4 pages to go into the science behind it, you'll just have to trust me on this.), yet rigid enough to offer sturdy protection against knock and scrapes... and toddler teeth. its not often i get time spare to review stuff but i thought this one really was impressive enough to make the effort. so simple to use yest sturdy enough to control even the most unruly nest of cables. by far the toughest bit about using this is gathering the cables together to get them inside the clip. Once you have a good stack wrapped in the clip, getting them into the cable tidy is as simple as zipping them up. Full instructions are printed on the back of the box not that you will have much trouble. the best bit about this product is that you can very easily remove it and reuse it elsewhere when needed. a totally wonderful product at a great price.

Being a bit of an old school computer user from the days when everything had cords and there was no such thing as wireless, I feel a bit strange without a spaghetti bundle behind the desk. This is my downfall when it comes times to relocate equipment for repairs or replacement, because I have to spend far more time than I want, untangling the 1 or 2 cords I need from the rats nest of others. This cord tidy is a god send! With just one of these I was able to isolate and contain all the main cords I use on the desktop PC from those of the printers, fax, gaming console and extra monitors.
You cant get much easier to use than this. Unpack the conduit and applicator widget, sort out the cables you want to bundle and clasp them in the applicator (it clamshells open like a plastic bulldog clip) and you are ready. There is a rounded knob on one end of the applicator, and its onto this you feed your plastic conduit. With a bit of a shove, and literally 2 seconds of zipper-like action, youre done! The cables are zipped into the sleeve and your cables look tidier.Seriously it will take you longfer to disentangle the cables than it will to sleeve them up.
It looks good in black but they are also available in other colours I think so you may be able to find one to suit the office decor. But these arent just useful in the office. I can easily see them handy in a workshop, kitchen, craft area, kids bedroom. Basically anywhere you dont want loose cables hanging around.
All in all, I was so impressed I shot out to the local branch of the warehouse and bought 4 more. Now all my PC cables are tidy and so is my garage workbench and the kitchen too. Brilliant stuff, just brilliant.
