Product reviews...
im going to keep this quick and easy. i wont buy this stuff ever again. so far i have bought over a dozen cans from the supermarket and if i am really lucky i can get almost half out of each can before it spits out all the gas and goes dead. the supermarket has said they wont replace any more cans because they think 6 cans in a row is more than enough. i agree. great taste when you can get some. sometimes i get as little as about 4 huntley and palmer crackers worth.
This convenience product is a must have for cheese lovers living life in the fast lane, as it's fast, easy & convenient, This cheese has a lovely flavour with a nice creamy rich feel of award winning cheese, that screams of hors d'oeuvres and dinner parties for large banquets of people.
This price of a mere $7.00 is fabulous for an introductory price, which is one of the most affordable convenience cheese products the USA has exported in years, so a must to try. Thank you Tatua!
As the label says, its a mild flavour. I was a little "iffy" about aerosol cheese at the start, however I must admit that it does taste just like the normal block of cheese.
Heaps of fun, especially when I first tried to "squirt" cheese onto my cracker. Once your used to it, very easy to use, fantastic for parties and kids (or both at the same time)
I would definitely buy this!
This Cheese comes in a very bright and appealing can. I find the Mr Cheese logo on the can to be rather accurate, as upon opening the can i can very well see that you could quite easily write words with the cheese, it's that plyable.
The can is very easy to operate, the cheese just slides on out, what could be easier??
The texture of the cheese is very smooth and creamy, and full of flavour. It goes well with crackers or bread. My daughter's favourite is Mr Cheese and marmite sandwiches.
The only downside i find with this product is that there is only 35% cheese in this can, i would prefer a higher percentage of cheese than that.
OK, so I get lazy sometimes and can't be bothered digging through 4 tonnes of junk metal in the cutlery drawer trying to find the cheese slicer... cheese singles are one option, and available in a range of flavours, sure... but there's nothing quite as easy as "pop the lid, aim and fire"... and that's where this stuff comes into play. It really is that simple... pop off the cap, put your finger against the side of the nozzle, aim it at your target food, and push gently. As you slowly bend the nozzle over, the cheese will start to flow.
Now, you have to wonder "Just what kind of cheese is this, that it can be packed in a can and dispensed like whipped cream?" - simple... it's pretty much the same kind of stuff used to make cheese singles... different, but close enough. Placed in a can with a pressurised 'piston' device in the bottom... you give it a way out, it'll come out.
It tested out well with our office crew, though a can didn't last very long... after only a single taste, the crew reacted as though we'd never fed them! That's a pretty good indication of how appealing this product turned out to be. It was great on crackers, great with mustard pickle, ham and tomato, with luncheon, with... hang on, I need to go have some more, this is making me hungry!
Overall, a great product, sure to find appeal. You'll find it in your supermarket if you look hard enough. Try down by the honey, peanut butter and other spreads... you won't find it with the cheese, because unlike block cheese, *this* doesn't need to be chilled, even after you start to use it!
Random listing from 'Food'...
Pic's Peanut Butter has met its match with our really good jelly.
What are the peanut butter makers doing messing around with berries? Making jam, that's what - but we don't call it jam because it hasn't got enough sugar. What it has got though, is boysenberries.
Glen and Maree, from Tasman Bay Berries, grow boysenberries. Lots of boysenberries. In fact, Nelson is the boysenberry centre of the Universe. ... more...
