Another great 70's Range offering from the team at Domino's. A little 'light' on toppings at first glance, this turned out to be surprisingly filling for me. Maybe it's because I snarfed down 3 slices in quick order.
The mix of flavours were well balanced, with the garlic proving to be a little more evenly spread than that on The Lot, which was a great relief to me.
Overall... add pineapple and you could call it a "hawaiian" with attitude, but still a stunning little piece of fodder. I would certainly give this one another go.
Didn't really know what to expect when we ordered the Americana, "what's cotto?" it had me thinking, and "please don't let it be fish", but food is food and it shall be eat'n, so says me. When it arrived it looked similar the supreme pizza, but I found the taste to be a little bland, so I dont think it'll find its way to an art gallery, but it was filling. Also good to note that these pizzas dont have a surcharge.
From the looks of this pizza I wasn't sure I would enjoy it. I'm usually a little adverse to capsicum, and to look at, the pizza seems quite scarce. Sometimes looks are deceiving. For some reason even the capsicum worked lovely wonders on my tastebuds, and I'm now a fan of another 70's range pizza. I found the Americana tasty yet not overbearing. I packs less punch than my other favourite, the Capriosca, but it's understated appealing. If you can call any pizza 'understated', and mean it in a positive way then this one is it.
Another thumbs up for the Dominos 70's range.
