This is quite a neat little story, and my young son loves to read it. I admit, with a shameful blush, that the little tyke had grabbed it off my desk and after giving it a quick read thru himself and deciding it was a good book, stuck it in his little library... so I should have reviewed this one a while back. Oops... my bad. -blush-
It's quite age-friendly, but due to a potentially troublesome bit near the end, it may not be suitable for very young kids who form quick attachments to chickens. So saying, even though my son is one of those kids, now that he is into school, and has eaten plenty of KFC meals, he knows what happens to wayward chooks and was OK reading this book.
Overall, a pretty good kids story... nothing spectacular in the way of story, but some great artwork. Great for young kids to read for themselves.
