Being a bit of a Photoshop buff myself, I am always on the look-out for good PShop-oriented publications. The very helpful staff at my preferred magazine supplier saw this and thought to bring it to my attention on a recent visit.

I gave it a brief flick, saw enough to decide it would be worth a good read, and bought it. Got home, and started to read. Highly impressive!

It carries skills that are advancing for beginners, refreshing for intermediate users, and reminders of how good it can look with minimal effects. We forget to fully explore the powerful tools built-in to Photoshop, and are too focused on third-party filters. With the right combination of layer effects and styles, almost ANY effect is possible.

This fine publication brings it all right to your hands, and is filled with unexpected gems of technique or pearls of wisdom. A great all-rounder.
