For people like me who like to store family movies without having to lose quality through over-shrinking. If you have the storage why lose a single byte?! I have only just bought a laptop with a dual-layer burner so it was great to finally be able to store an entire birthday on one disc, instead of having to split it up to keep the quality. With the new burner being able to whizz the disc at 6x speed easily, I was able to not only save the 20-odd minutes on the burn time alone, but also the extra 15-20 minutes of fluffing around swapping discs, setting the next part ready to burn and the like. Being printable also gave me better features than the discs I was using before. Now I can finally print my own cover art. Something that links the disc to the event at a glance. The resolution was great with no blotchy patches and no serious banding, not caused by the disc anyway. So if you have need for seriously large storage whether its for backup of data or a family movie then this media is well worth a try. You probably wont regret it. Ask at your preferred pc retailer for availability and pricing.
