This version of Golive has to be the most feature packed version of them all, with features such as Enhanced Live Rendering which allows you to preview changes to Web and mobile content in a real-time integrated browser. Or the ability to build Web pages that conform to open standards using new visual CSS workflows, this also makes it easy to author and validate standards-compliant CSS content for mobile devices as well.

On top of this you also have the Total site management system that allows you to track and manage everything in your site, from assets to links, uploading content is easy using protocols such as Secure FTP and WebDAV via SSH or SSL, you can also easily synchronize local and remote files.

The new Quick Start Developer Mode is a godsend for coders like myself who prefer to get down to the nitty gritty barebones of the site, yet still want to be able to access the Site Management features.

The have also now automated the favicon creation process to reduce the time it takes to create those wonderful little favourite icons we all so love.

And finally the cross referencing/integration of all the CS2 products is even better this time round than it was in the CS1 suite with the Adobe Bridge software that is included as part of the CS2 suite.

All up this is an improvement over CS1 and with the new added features is fast becoming a firm competitor to Dreamweaver. And with Adobe's recent purchase of Macromedia I cannot wait to see what comes out of Adobe next.
