Pass the Pigs: go hog wild with the pig-tastic game.
One of the marvels of Pass the Pigs is that it can be played anywhere, anytime. Players roll two pigs and attempt to have them land in different positions to earn points. The more difficult the position, such as the pigs standing on their hind legs, the more points the player earns.
Players attempt to rack up points by rolling the pig dice, but if they're not careful they might 'Pig Out' and lose all their points. Pass the Pigs is a portable, simple game that allows players to push their luck in many situations!
Pass the Pigs is the sizzlin' fun, shakin' bacon game!
Includes: Carry case, rule book, score cards, 2 pencils, 2 pigs.
2 or more Players, Ages: 8+

Pass the Pigs is a push your luck game that can be played anywhere that you have a big enough, flat surface, to roll the two pigs onto, with the scorepad, pencil and two pigs fitting into a handy case you can throw in your bag and go. My mum bought a copy of this, when I was a tween, after my uncle brought this out at a Christmas family get-together and it was a hilarious hit. I have fond memoires of a dozen or so of us, crowded around the table and the glee as we one upped each other or someone rolled and made the dreaded Makin' Bacon (which would erase ALL the points you had banked. I have played this from just two players to over a dozen and had just as much fun each time.
What's good about this game is it is easy enough to learn and the rule book has handy illustrations to show you what each points looks like, there's even the very rare case for when they land on top of each other, a move I've only ever seen happen once in my 20+ years playing this and ends with the player being booted from the game completely. Whilst there is maths involved, any age player can join in if someone is happy to do the adding for them, they just need to be able to choose when they want to take the risk and toss the pigs again or stop and keep their hard earned points. Once someone gets to 100+ points, all other players have just one turn to score higher, and yes, if they get higher, the next player still gets a chance to score better and there's just no telling if you will beat their score or not, even if there's only 1 point between you.
This game has been a staple of our boardgame collection and lasted well, I'm still playing with our original copy.
