Product reviews...
Unfortunately my little girl had one wart on her knee, and oneday when we were at the park she tripped on a hidden piece of wire and tore the wart half way off her knee but not all the way off. It bleed a lot and because so much of it was detached and it was a reasonable sized wart we nipped to A&E in the hopes they would remove it in its entirety. Sadly the doctor wiped it with a tissue, said it would fall off, put a bandaid on it and sent us home.
Fast forward 6 months and her one lonely wart is now 9 fast forward another 3 months and that has doubled. And the original wart. Reattached and now 4 times its size. Being young we did not want to subject her to going to the doctor to have them burnt/frozen (whatever it is they do) off, so we went to the pharmacy to see what was available. BYE wart was the cheapest wart remover, and also the less traumatic sounding and easiest to use for/on a child lol
So using it was easy. It comes in a simple tube, squeeze, apply to warts and let it be. It even has a pleasant smell to it, but for her it did nothing at that time After nearly 3/4s of a tube had been used and nothing changed we did have to give in and take her to the doctor where she had to endure 12 weeks of return visits have them frozen off with the larger ones gone she was left with some not quite gone ones and a couple of tiny wee ones on her knee and she was quite specific with her wording of not returning to the doctor for one last treatment.
So we dug out the last of the BYE wart! And it seems to be working. The last little warts on her knee are reducing, and it is looking like she wont need that last doc visit after all. So, it seems that it might be a product best suited for tiny little warts that are not all that noticeable. Not really suited I think for verrucas and large warts but everyone is different though. For the price (under $20) and ease of use it is definitely worth trying before going to the doctor.
NOTE: this is not a product for genital warts.
