War on everyone follows corrupt cops Terry Monroe (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bob Bolano (Michael Pena) as they break the law for a living in New Mexico. Terry is an alcoholic who loves Glen Campbell, and Bob is a closet intellectual who loves his wife and kids.
When Terry and Bob try to shake down strip club manager Birdwell (Caleb Landry Jones), the crooked pair come up against criminal kingpin, James Mangan (Theo James). When things get very, very personal they realise its not just about the money any more. Terry and Bob put everything on the line for the sake of an innocent child, and shooting their way to rough justice could turn out to be their unlikely redemption.

I was really excited to review this DVD. I love a good action movie mixed with comedy and after reading the back of the DVD I could already tell this was right up my alley. I noted on the front that this DVD was R16 because of sex scenes, violence, drug use and offensive language so obviously not something I would recommend for younger viewers. I found the story line of this really good. It did jump around a wee bit to start with but eventually it settled down and became easy to follow. It had a great mix of action, comedy and crime to keep me entertained and wanting to watch more. I felt like this was a good cop bad cop kind of genre with the typical cop movie tendencies i.e cops eating donuts but with a bit of a twist - I won't tell you what as don't want to give away too much.
I really don't enjoy movies where you can work out exactly what is going to happen next. This one was the opposite as just when I thought I had worked out what was going to happen it changed directions and the total opposite happened.
I really enjoyed this movie it had a good mix of crime, guns, laughter, seriousness, extortion the list goes on. This is a movie I would definitely watch again and is one that I would recommend to my friends. I think $40 for a DVD is a reasonable price especially when its something I will watch more than once.
