I was absolutely fascinated with season one, how Annalise managed to win the unwinnable cases. What should of been an 'open and closed case' she always managed to turn around and beat the odds and win with the aid of her students - it was always compelling, fresh and exciting. I expected the same from season two but was sadly let down.

There is only really the one case in this season and basically for the whole season you are left guessing are they innocent or guilty and if they are in deed guilty who did it Caleb or Catherine? Are they in fact lovers or are they just being framed. As usual it plays on your mind and you are forever changing it. Then there is the little glimpses of what is to come and I am not ashamed to admit it I yelled at the television on more than one occasion, it was torture waiting for it to play out in its entirity knowing that Annalise had been shot and then finding out who did it, it was a long eight weeks!

This season was more about relationships and whining and crying and hating on. It was tiresome and over done and I don't understand if you hate her so much why not just leave instead of the evil stares and telling her how you felt on more than one occasion. You could handle it if it was just the one person but the whole cast spent most of the time hating Annalise and it just brought the whole show down. It was not well done and if anything it was plan annoying. Also they all seemed to share each others beds and it all felt very silly. The only consistant pairing was Connor and Oliver which I am happy about they are such a cute couple.

This season definitely did not have the same intensity as the previous season and felt more like school kids fighting the whole time. It still had the excitment and the killing and the cover up and the disfuctional falling apart but it just got tedious. Annalise was once again amazing how she could be a total mess one second and completely under control the next. A brilliant actor and one that you can not take your eyes off. Finding out about her and Sam's backstory was also good as it answered a lot of questions but the series itself definitely was not in the same ball park as last seasons.
