Piako Gourmet Yoghurt - Spiced Apple product reviews

Proud to promote NZ productsIt all started when we first crafted New Zealand dairy ingredients into exquisite, decadent, extraordinary tasting yoghurt. We took it to our local farmers' markets and found you guys couldn't get enough of it. Our yoghurt is so delicious it's like eating pure pleasure. Unlike many indulgent products the best thing about our yoghurt is it's made with real simple ingredients. Real, simple indulgence; what more could you want?

Nothing quite like the warm taste of Spiced Apple, delicious on its own or add to your favourite dessert.

I've only recently discovered Piako Yoghurt and it's one of those products that I'm really pleased that I came across, and in saying that it was only by chance as last week at my local supermarket they were having free taste testing of this most incredible yoghurt that I've ever tasted. Spiced apple was one of the flavours which I was lucky enough to try the other day so this joined my other groceries in the supermarket trolley this week along with Piako Passionfruit yoghurt.

The Spiced Apple yoghurt is divine so thick and creamy and more like a custard in texture than a yoghurt which suits me just fine as I do love custard. Though the smell of the yoghurt isn't very strong, from the very first spoonful of the yoghurt it is devine the flavour is full of lovely spices and there is a distinctive apple flavour which reminds me of apple pie, even though this is a smooth yoghurt without any apple bits the flavours are most certainly there. Miss 3 absolutely adored this yoghurt and kept on asking for more, she is not a fan of chunks so I can see why she liked this so much.

It was extremely hard to stop myself from eating the tub of this yoghurt in one sitting, but I restrained from doing so only because I wanted to enjoy a dollop of this with my apple pie, this was simply delicious and I think I actually preferred it to the usual side of ice cream that I'd usually have with my pie. The flavours worked so well together and the taste of spiced apple yoghurt added a wow factor to the pie. Such a yummy yoghurt which really is such a classic flavour combustion that id never dreamt of eating in a yoghurt before.

Being full of probiotics makes it even better for you, this is one yoghurt I'd buy again so far I'm yet to try a Piako yoghurt that I don't like.
