I love reading especially a book with a great storyline, one that has me hooked and reading all hours. I really like the cover and couldn't wait to start reading. The story is very similar to The Never ending Story as it is similar, the hero has no idea that they are even the hero and kind of stumble around a bit trying toy work out what to do. I really liked how the aunts were written as they knew what needed to be done but couldn't do much but stand by and watch, I like how the magic is clear to see and that there is both good and bad characters.

I notice that there are two further books in this series and would be interested in reading them to see how the rest of the story unfolds. The story was easy to follow and there were twists in the plot. I managed to read the book in a few hours even with kids under foot and asking about the book. This kind of story will appeal to kids who love to read and use their imagination, it has magic that will appeal to both boys and girls.

Yes the story is make believe but a good book can take you on a journey without you even leaving your house and this book is well written and interesting enough way to pass some time.
