Arguably one of the best suspense thrillers that you will ever see. You are taken along a journey and you are just not sure what is going to happen next. Two strangers wake in a room chained with a note saying you need to cut of your limb to survive. Between the two they peice together the puzzle and figure out what is really going on.

Forget about the horrible sequels this is what a true horror is made of. It is not a slasher film of sorts instead you do see the mind of a true mad man who is on deaths door and has nothing left to loose. Instead he (kindly) tries to teach people lessons about how important life really is, by setting life or death tasks. Will you fight to survive or will you succumb to death.

I love this movie and have watched a few times. It does have its slow periods but makes up for it in the end. I just don't get why no one questioned who the body in the middle of the floor was - the first thing I thought. I am not sure if I would cut of my limbs to save my family as it must be a terrible experience. Hollywood needs to take note when next making a horror, and not by doing crap sequels.
