This book is lovely. We brought for my little princess when she turned two and was one of her birthday gifts from her daddy and me. You get to record the story so my husband and I both took turns reading a page. You can ad-lid, make amazing sounds and basically say whatever you want.
There are instructions on the front cover and is really easy to use. Take off the cover and turn to microphone then hold down the particular page number and speak rather closely to the book. Afterwards click the switch to off and screw back on.
There are numbers down the bottom of the page and watching my daughters expression as she pushed the button hearing how I loved her and her sister sooooooooo much and then I carried on to tell a story, actually brought a tear to my eye. When she got to hear daddys voice she was squealing saying that it is her daddy.
These books are one of the best investments you can make. While my husband is at work she gets to push the button if missing him and can lie there listen to him making crazy sounds, and telling a story. Not only that at the end of the story my husband leaves a short heart felt message to her that she plays over and over again.
The pictures in the book are so vibrant and visual that she loves to just look at them alone. The story is about what she could possibly dream about tonight. Fantastic value as cost less that $20 when I brought it. Plays it at least once a week and is never to far from reach.
