My kids know the basics of Star Wars, but not much more than "it's people with swords called light sabres."

Opening this up there is a double page of stickers and a double page, which you can pull out, that's a board game. The back cover gets cut up to give you four game pieces and 12 tokens. The board game might look like it isn't much, but you do need to circle the board three times, so it makes a nice enough game. The instructions are nice and easy and my six year old got it without a problem.

The activities in the book are rather easy, the stickers got done within five minutes with my five and six year old racing through it without any problem. There was one confusing moment with an extra character sticker, and there were stickers left, which the kids happily used to make cards with. The codes they found really easy and they enjoyed the colouring in, having lots of fun with that. As an introduction to Star Wars this is a nice and easy way to name the basic characters of Han Solo, Leia, Lando and so on.

For $8 I wouldn't buy this again, the kids were done within half an hour. Fun, but over too soon.

My first thought was wow this is a very small book. There are not a lot of activities and can easily be finished in less than an hour. My second thought was this would be better suited to my two year old then five year old and I was right.

Actually I have to admit was blown away at how amazing she was at it. The code cracker had sticker letters to crack the code instead of having to write which I thought was a brilliant idea. So my two year old and five year old sat down and I pointed to the special item and they both in turn found them. The answers were rather easy and my five year old had guessed both before finishing. But for young ones this is great.

I enjoyed the shadow Who's Who and that had my two year old very excited as well. She loved choosing a shadow then looking at the stickers to determine which was correct. I was a very proud mummy when she got them all correct and we were both a little puzzled when Luke's picture was still sitting there. Going through the book both require stickers and when you have finished there are still quite a few left over which could be great for future activities.

There is still a lot of pages to be coloured but as a whole it is a very small book. I would of liked a few more pages. In the middle of the book is also a game which we are playing this afternoon, but I am not sure about the attention span of my two year old. For $8 I do think its a little expensive because like I said previously an hour at the most and you have finished all activities and coloured in a couple of the pages. I don't think its well suited for school children because it is basic but ideal for preschoolers.
