I have been told to avoid sugar as much as possible as I have a strong family history of diabetes and when tested I was borderline diabetic so a few diet changes had to be made. I have tried a few of the other sweeteners, the advice was to try a few before deciding on which one to buy and to try a few days of one before saying I don't like it.
I used to have 2 sugars in my coffee and tea so I put 2 tablets in my drinks and found that it tastes almost like normal sugar but sometimes I find that it is a bit powdery at the bottom of my cup which can be a little bit off putting. I also find that sometimes my drink can be a bit too sweet or that it tastes like I forgot to put a tablet in my drink but that is not very often.
I haven't tried any in baking since I use normal sugar in my baking and find that it is not overloading me with sugar but I do see that it can be used in baking.
I would recommend this product to anyone that is on a limited sugar or sugar free diet and if you find that the taste isn't quite right for you then try one of the other brands. With such a lot of tablets they do last a few months so although it does cost a bit in the beginning, it does end up rather cost effective.
