Stuart Little 2 product reviews

Stuart's mother is being over-protective of him, especially when he narrowly escapes injury in a soccer game. His big brother George has also made a new friend, Will, so Stuart is feeing lonely. Stuart rescues a canary, Margalo, from a falcon; she moves in with the Littles. One day, Margalo is nowhere to be found, so Stuart and Snowbell set out across the city to find her while George covers for Stuart (the first time he's had to lie).

Stuart Little 2 follows on, not too long after, the events of the first Stuart Little movie. They are now all one big family, but Stuart is starting to feel a bit left out.

The "Little" family are still happy, vibrant, and warm in their quest to give their new mouse sibling, Stuart (Michael J. Fox) a home he can be proud of. Yet with George having a best friend and spending more time with him and an overprotective mother, Stuart is starting to wish for something more. What's well done about this movie is that most of what we see if from Stuarts height, so we get more of a feeling for what life is like for Stuart.

Stuart begins to befriend a small yellow canary named Margalo (Melanie Griffith), who he rescued after seeing her being pursued by an ominous falcon in the sky. It turns out, Margalo is in cahoots with the falcon to steal valuables from homes all across New York City, but little Margalo keeps that secret away from Stuart when she discovers how kind and gentle he really is. Things go wrong, as one would expect, but shows just how loyal and caring Stuart is to those he loves.

Stuart Little 2 isn't anything that stands out from the crowd, Margalo doesn't look real and the plot is nothing special, but if you liked the first movie you should enjoy this to some degree.

Directed by Larry Charles

Product image for BoratIn this hilariously offensive movie, Kazakhstani TV news reporter Borat is dispatched to the United States to make a documentary on the "greatest country in the world." Arriving in New York City with a producer and cameraman in tow, Borat becomes increasingly interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson than on his assignment. En route to Los Angeles, he meets real people in real situations with hysterical consequences.
