Scenic Route product reviews

Mitchell (Josh Duhamel) and Carter (Dan Fogler), life long friends who have drifted apart, are on a road trip when their old pickup breaks down, leaving them stranded on an isolated dessert road. Nobody can pick apart a man like his best friend, and as the relentless elements of the dessert grind them down, they start to attack each others life decisions with unwavering brutality. As they question who they are and who they could have been, their agitation leads to physical confrontation and ultimately knife-wielding madness, and what begins as an inconvenience becomes a very real life or death struggle.

This was a bit of a random movie but one that I enjoyed and plan on watching again with my husband on the weekend. That fact alone says a lot to me - to be willing to watch a movie a second time its got to be fairly good in my books, otherwise I just see it as wasted time. I say that its random as its story line is based around two guys stuck in the middle of the dessert. I mean come on, that is just a little bit random to have an entire movie based around it! Never the less, random as it may be, it works and the plot line really gets you thinking about what's important in life - well it does by the end of the movie anyway.

Mitchell and Carter who are best friends suddenly become stuck in the dessert when their truck breaks down in the middle of a road trip. The pair, who go slightly crazy and almost kill each other used to be best friends but had drifted apart in recent times. In the middle of this plot line I do remember thinking this is dumb, like this would happen. I don't think it was a case of bad acting but just the repeated violence started to annoy me as such because it was starting to seem a little repetitive and I wanted the movie to hurry up and move on. Then just as suddenly as the movie starts, suddenly everything has turned and is working out for the better. The ending was a bit of a cliff hanger as sorts and left it nicely open for a sequel I reckon (though whether they do one is another story but they definitely could).

A movie I would recommend to others. I liked the fact this movie wasn't just a normal love story, boy meets girl something gets in the way then they fall in love comedy. After watching it I definitely had feelings of "needing to appreciate my life more" and that's pretty deep to have come from watching a movie I thought!

Product reviews for listing 6593: Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' -  Director/Studio: Tadayoshi Yamamuro

Product image for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'Hot on the heels of last year's summer blockbuster, Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Z is back in theaters. Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' is the second film personally supervised by the series creator himself, Akira Toriyama. The new movie showcases the return of Frieza - one of the most iconic villains of all time. Even the complete obliteration of his physical form can't stop the galaxy's most evil overlord.
