I went to see this when it came out at the movies and enjoyed it so much that it was a must own movie for me.
Kuzco is the egotistical Emperor of his land who decides to build a summer house on the hilltop where Pacha lives. He accidentally gets turned into a Llama by Yzma and Kronk, thinks it was Pacha and so we have a lovely fun story where Kuzco wants to return home, Pacha wants to help in return for his home being safe and Yzma and Kronk want to kill Kuzco.
This strikes me as a fun take on The Emperor's New Clothes fairy tale, just that he gets turned into a Llama instead and gets to learn his lesson. There are so many fun parts, from the chipmunk that Kronk can talk to, to the chase scenes, to the characters talking to the audience and so therefore pulling you into it even more (love it when during a chase scene Yzma and Kronk look at you, puzzled and then just shrug their shoulders and continue on with the chase).
I really really do like this movie, it's one that I was happy to watch when my daughter went through a phase of having it on repeat.
