I signed up back in 2009 - and really liked the programme. The rewards felt fair and the communication was clear and regular. I have found over time the rewards have both reduced in frequency and in value. I would like to see this relaunched with the earlier enthusiasm. I have been a member of a number of programmes of this nature to reward users for feedback and felt this was better in past. I liked the style of the communications and it does not feel like this is a rebranding of an automated tool like some schemes. I do feel that I may no longer fit the ideal demographics for the requests that come in which might be a change in my circumstances making me less appealling (full time working single female in your 30s was a good demographic to be popular it seemed). I would say give the program a whirl and if it doesn't work it is not going to hound and annoy you with spam after your interest drops either (friends comment about being impressed that they were not spammed after leaving the smilecity stuff due to leaving the country).
Not sure what else to say other than this is better than the average but still has a few flaws for me.
I first joined smile city a few years ago and the thought of getting something for my opinion without having to do a heck of a lot did appeal.
Since I first joined up there have been a few changes and have recently done some more changes. It used to be really easy to get points without spending real money by using the shopping partners but over time that has changed and the forum was great but unfortunately that feature is no longer available. I normally just put my points in the ebank but recent changes mean it is not as profitable as it was in the past, I was considering the SmileCity Gold bank but am really glad now that I didn't' do much apart from think about it. I used to log in daily but in the last few years, since the first round of changes, I find that I can actually go a few weeks before I remember to log in as points are so much more scarce now and my time is a lot busier, I signed up when I only had my daughter and have added two sons to my family.
If you are not wanting instant rewards and are happy to let your points add up slowly then go ahead and sign up, most the online reward partners are good, even when I have to query every time about when my points are going to be added to my account and out don't get an avalanche of junk email
There are many things I like about this site. When you sign up you can start earning points right away. On the main page when you sign in on the left hand side there is a todays to do list and you check down there to see what you can do today. There is normally a quick question which you get every day, it will tell you if you have unread emails and the guessing game.
I like when I click on my reward emails when I scroll to the bottom I can click to entry into a competition or take 5 points, I always take 5 points cause I like getting my points up to cash out later on. With your points you can go into auctions and use them to bid on things, I have never done this, or you can get your cash out $30/$100 you need a decent amount of points to do this. I have got money out a few times but getting the points can take a while.
Ways to get points are by the reward emails, quick polls, surveys, putting points into e-bank and more as they come up. You can earn points but going into sites and buy items from the partners of smilecity. I love saving up my points to get the money out around Christmas time as it helps a lot even if its only $30 or $100.

Flickr - almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world - has two main goals:
1. We want to help people make their photos available to the people who matter to them.
Maybe they want to keep a blog of moments captured on their cameraphone, or maybe they want to show off ... more...
