This has to be one of the wierdest bedtime story books I have encountered since Dr Seuss!
As something suitable to read to children, I guess there is nothing wrong with it, and my son sure thought it was "really funny, daddy"... but it just struck me as something really strange indeed.
You could think of it as "Footrot Flats" meets "Dr Doolittle"...
Overall, your kids will love it, and you will probably find it entertaining too. :)
