Two long time NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia obsessed gangster.
Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his "partner-against-crime" whose preoccupation with his wife's alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.

Jimmy is a detective along with his long-time best friend Paul. When Jimmy's daughter announces that she is getting married Jimmy vows to pay for her dream wedding. After put on probation by his boss Jimmy tries to sell a vintage mint condition baseball card only to have it stolen and then end up in the hands of a violent gangster.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, and while it does provide some decent comedy it is far more of an action orientated film than a comedy. There is what you would expect from a well rounded action film, a chase on foot, a car chase, some gunfights and plenty of tough talking.
Sean William Scott (the thief) at times out acts Tracey Morgan and I found him to be a better character than Paul was. Cop Out is a good movie about the lengths a father down on his luck would go to to give his daughter the wedding of her dreams and outshine the step-father.

When a young bride (Samara Weaving) marries into a ridiculously rich and delightfully deranged family, her wedding night becomes her worst nightmare as she's forced to play a lethal game of hide-and-seek and must fight to stay alive.
Co-starring Adam Brody, Mark O'Brien, Henry Czerny and Andie Macdowell, Ready Or Not is a wicked comedy-thriller that elevates the phrase "till death do us part" to shocking new heights!
