When I got the chance to review this book it was the best thing I chose, I don't tend to like reading big books but with this, it looks big but its full of great facts and information , I'm learning more and more each day. You don't even have to read it front to back, I flip though and find things and give that question and answer a read.
There is about 8 catergoies its broken into like weather and atmosphere, animals in that animals there is 7 different ones, its got the authors notes and references in there aswell. I love how this book is revolved around NZ asking about earthquakes, asking about animals, weather etc and giving you a nice detailed answer not a yes, no or maybe that something may or may not happen.
One question I found interesting was Are cat all bad for NZ wildlife considering whats been in the news etc. Very interesting in deed, my mum saw the book sitting on my couch arm and said after ive finished she would love to have a read, its a very catchy book for those that want to learn more about their country or those that arent from NZ to learn about NZ.
So if your into history or even if your kids are into history get this book it will last and maybe help them though some school projects or give them something interesting to research more of . I'm not a very strong reader and I'm enjoying this book.
