Garner is Jenna Rink, who goes 13 to 30, from geek to glamorous in the blink of an eye with the help of some magical wishing dust. But now that she's the women she always wanted to be, Jenna discovers that life as a "grown up" is more complicated than she ever imagined.
Driven by top performances and a soundtrack of great 80's hits, 13 going on 30 is an absolute winner of a film that's fun for movie lovers of any age

I have seen this move so many times I had to buy the DVD. It has always made me think we grow up too fast or want to grow up too fast, this movie proves that.
It starts off with two best friends Jenna and Matt, Jenna being one of these young girls that just wants to change everything and be something she isnt. On her 13th birthday with the help of wishing magical dust things change. Jenna wakes up not knowing who she is where she is or anything else, as the blurb says a blink of an eye going from geek to glamourous. But is this life all cut out to what she always wanted? While Jenna tries to navigate the "grown up" world while still remembering being 13, its interesting things she learns and things she didnt think she would of could do leaves her wanting her life back to how it was.
This movie is interesting and does bring me back to wanting to be older than I was brings me back down to earth and think I'm glad I went though it from start to get to a grown up instead of jumping right there. There is a bit of funny though it, romance and more, you dont want to miss what happens in Jenna's life, go out borrow it and see if you enjoy this movie like I do. I personally wouldn't mind my 3 nad 4 year olds watching this movie, it does say PG as it contains sexual references but I don't really see that.

Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing. This is a funny and heartfelt coming-of-age story about the thrilling ride of finding yourself and ... more...
