Fisher Price Big Action Dig and Ride product reviews

In the Fisher Price "Big Action Dig 'n' Ride Ride-On", your child can control the bucket and can lift and turn the crane. The crane moves up and down and the bucket really scoops.

Featuring:
Big rig tyres
Realistic electronic sounds

My son received this for his birthday. It was meant to be as a toy for the sand pit however it is too big to use in the sandpit so he uses it as a ride on instead just around the property. We have had it in the sand pit and it does really dig and scoop and we have also done digging with it elsewhere on the property so it has well and truly become an outside toy.

Despite the fact that it is most suited to being an outside toy it has electronic sounds, such as a horn, a reverse beep, and the sound of rocks being scooped up in the bucket so therefore has to be kept indoors when not in use. The other thing I noticed was that the crane and bucket is quite hard to use for younger children - my son hasn't figured it out yet but still enjoys pulling the handles.

It seems really safe and sturdy and is low enough to the ground for little ones that they can get on and off safely and there are no loose or small parts that could come off. The bucket does not have a sharp edge either.

My son really loves this toy and it will last him for a while too as its recommended age group is 1 to 4 years, as he gets bigger he will be able to use the bucket and crane properly too so i'm sure we will end up with holes in our gardens. At the moment he likes to sit on it and press the buttons to make the noises and as his feet can't quite sit flat on the floor to push himself along he likes to be pushed around on it.
