The ideal solution for HDTV and progressive scan DVD players. Component video seperates colour into its primary components using three cables to transmit three distinct signals. This provides brighter, more accurate colours and sharper detail, exceeding the performance of composite and S-Video.

Component Video Cable: AV21000-06
Connected to Panasonic TV 29" Flat (Tau) from a Pioneer DVD 466. The two movies of choice were Krull (quite old) and Kill Bill vol 1.
I have seen both movies before but was pleasently surprised with the finer definition on edges and graphics including the animation scenes in Kill Bill. Visually the movies looked better and seemed to have more depth and clarity. I also played several VCD movies from PC collection and found them to be somewhat better.
There is a distracting graininess in the still picture (PC Jpgs) from just an RCA lead so I am most pleased to see that it is not present with the component system
As I have seen with Belkin they continue to manufacture well made products, a bit stiff though if you have limited space to install into a cabinet or wall unit.
