Another great art, ideas book by Usbourne, this one has 50 art projects on their own page. Each idea has a double page spread with a picture of the project and clear step by step instructions. It also touches on how to use the materials including preparation and maintenance of the materials which is great as art materials cost a lot of money so I want my daughter to learn how to take care of them properly.
Their are some really cool projects in this book for both drawing and painting which are my daughters two favourite things to do. She did one of the projects which was a lizard with oil pastel. The instructions were really easy to follow and she said it made it easy with the pictures that illustrate each step as she likes to have a visual aid.
Again this is a great book for a school student wanting to learn new techniques in the classroom, but is also just a great book for boredom busting or rainy day activities. It would make a great teaching resource and she may find I borrow it when I go back to work.
