Due to the complaints from the neighbours about my playing Fable at high volume to get the best from the sound effects (and to test my new Surround Sound speakers) I had to unplug the speakers from the TV, and decided to use my Sony infra-red cordless headphones instead. Now, I could have cheated and simply plugged the Xbox into the transmitter directly, but I thought "Well, I have cables to test, and this one will fit..." so I jacked the transmitter into the TV's headphone socket intead. This meant that I could play it as loud as I wanted without bugging the sleepy grump next door. (Well, it was 2am, so I guess I was being a bit rude.)
Anyways... after an hour of so of playing, and another 2 hours of watching DVDs, I figured I would quickly run the signal meter over the cables and see what it said about them. It confirmed my 'organic' assessment... brilliant sound quality over a huge spectrum of sound.
I was impressed at the quality of manufacture, with all plugs firmly socketing, well attached to the cables, the cables themselves were well sheilded, reducing the inevitable hiss I get in the testing room (After all, 5 computers, 2 DVD players, 2 VCRs, a stereo, Bluetooth, WiFi and Cellular networks running... if you have too many fillings you wouldn't want to walk into this room).
Overall, I was highly impressed. I am considering refitting ALL cabling in the room with the Belkin range, because I sincerely feel it will reduce the stray emissions drastically, making for a better, healthier workplace.
