Product reviews...
I was shocked to find out about the new LTSA guidelines that specify that indicator casings must be air-tight... (There can be no condensation or water access, and since water can be carried in air, it must be air-tight... what I want to know is SO WHAT?! How does that affect the road-worthiness of a car?).
And since some kind shopper used a trolley to perform an unauthorised cosmetic alteration (they smashed the indicator blister-cover right off) my car was rendered unwarrantable.
After much of the running, around, like the chicken with no head thing... I finally chanced upon someone who suggested Plastic Works... so off I trundled and approached Scott.
After an investigation of options, I was given a time to return that afternoon, with an assurance that the job would be completed half an hour later. I arrived late (kids, the great schedule-killers) but Scott was in a very 'no worries' frame of mind and reassured me that sure enough, half an hour it would be.
So, off we went, my son and I, to explore this highly-industrial area of town. After a highly informative meeting with a man about a very powerful radio system, we returned a little under half an hour later to find that the job was done, the car was ready to go, and the indicator panel had been welded over, well patched, and ready to be waterproofed with silicon sealant.
I handed over my payment quite satisfied with the job done, totally impressed by the 'can do, gimme a shot' attitude displayed by Scott, and a great job made of a difficult task.
Overall, if it's plastic, and it's broken, these are the guys to see for sure. Thanks a lot Scott, your level of service was impressive indeed. The only thing that lets you down... location. Parking is a hassle with that narrow driveway filled to the brim with cars in queue... a sign of prosperity indeed, but too small a venue to deal with them well.
