In broad terms, this game is similar to many others out there... but broad terms don't often reflect the subtle differences that can make a game stand out amongst it's peers. This game has the third dimension - height - to make it unique.
Made from durable and beautiful natural wood, the play pieces are simple and easily distinguished. This makes the game seem far simpler than it actually is - it's a battle of wits, wills and strategy... and it's so much more fun if the players are fairly evenly matched. Who *really* finds much pleasure in beating an inferior opponent?! Not me, that's for sure.
Similar in nature to many other games, this one still managed to hold it's own and stay unique, keeping my interest by giving an added level of difficulty with the ever-possible risk of having my opponent scoot over the top of my carefully-laid tracks, utterly undoing my evil plans for domination... erm, I mean my attempt to win the game. This was done many times until I started to get a grasp on playing that third dimension properly... and it will take some time for those so used to 'flatland' games that work only in 2 dimensions.
Overall, this was quite possibly one of my favourite games of the year, and one I hope to play again... if I can find another opponent willing to take me on.

One player makes a word, the next player changes it - by altering 1 or more letters, or adding to the word. The skill is in the scoring and the whole game can change, in a twist!
The special card holder extends outwards to hold more letters, and spins around to face each player on their turn.
Watch out - It's addictive.
