This is a lovely little unit, and it has it all going for it. It's got an amazing 4GB capacity which means you can snap almost 4000 photos on a 3.2 Megapixel camera at 100% Jpeg quality. It has the ability to plug straight into a USB port so you don't have to muck around trying to find where you put your all-in-one card reader, or worry about the camera batteries draing flat before you've had the chance to transfer off all those wonderful snaps you've just taken. And the best feature is it's DUCATI RED. However the one drawback I have with this is that it is a SDHC device, which is not the same as SD, and thus is can only be used in SDHC compatible devices which are still not yet as popular as standard SD.
It was time for the testing, so I got the card loaded up with some photos, both a mixture of Jpeg and RAW (some were up to 64MB in size) and plugged it into the USB port and started transfering. I got some impressive results, for the 2MB JPEG photo's I was getting transfer speeds of 25MB/s from the card and for the 64MB files it was 26MB/s, but when I transferred them back it was somewhat slower, getting only 6MB/s and 10MB/s respectively, however this was on the USB interface which is generally only meant to be used as a method of extracting your data not putting data onto it, which is what the SD interface is for.
All in all this is a great unit if you have a suitable SDHC device that can use it.
