Whilst I am a huge fan of the MechWarrior/Mech Commander genre I was a bit let down by this game, whilst it has all the elements of the Mech Warrior games the 3rd person perspective makes the player feel less involved.
Graphically I can find absolutely no fault with the game, and accuracy to the franchise is superb with all your favourite Mechs and Weapons.
Even though the immersion factor is down a bit on what I would normally expect from an MW game, it still has enough to keep you coming back to see if you can better yourself on that last mission, or to kill the one that got away last time.
So in summary up although it's not as good as it could be it's still worth having in your collection.
