Another winner from Rod Campbell!!
I've yet to pick up a Rod Campbell book that isn't pleasing for adults and children alike, and this one certainly is...
There are bright, simple pictures that are not overloaded with excess imagery; the touch and feel sections of the pages are pleasing to touch and explore and there is a nice little lift-the-flap surprise at the end for the children to find.
The writing on each page matches the pictures well, and would be the things that most children would find interesting about being at the zoo - the penguins waddling, the snake slithering in the tree...
This is bound to become a classic like so many of Rod Campbell's other book :)

A dinosaur follow-the leader story!
Follow Ruth Paul's colourful dinosaurs as they HOP, STOMP and ROAR their way through the pages of this beautifully illustrated book. On the outward journey the largest dinosaur leads, until they can go no further - then on the way back, it's baby dinosaur who gets to lead the way!
Perfect for littlies with few words, but lots of sounds and 'doing' words for them to act out.
