Product reviews...
Honestly, I have seen so many magnetic products that promise everything from temporary relief from joint pain, to a total cure for cancer. Sure, some of the claims may hold some validity, but most of them sound just outrageous... like a bed mat that can help you sleep better just by having magnets in it. Very New-Age...
Thus were my thoughts as I slipped the Magna Mat between my matress and undersheets and the Magna Pad into the pillowcase, with a smirk and a 'yeah RIGHT!" attitude. I was quite expecting to have no effect evident at all... so you can imagine how surprised I was when after only a few nights of getting used to the extra lumps under me, I found I was getting a better night's sleep, pain-free mornings as I climbed out of bed, and a clearer head day-long and much-reduced neck pain.
Frankly, I was stunned. I couldn't get my head around it! The usual snake-oil claims that the magnets affected the bloodflow because of the suspended iron in the red blood cells just seemed totally hokey to me... after all, if that were the case, why don't cellphones cause all our blood to rush towards, or away, from our hips? Why don't microwaves and TV's cause all the blood to rush madly around our bodies too? Who knows... at least this items doesn't try to claim HOW it works... just that it does.
Overall, you couldn't ask for an easier-to-install solution to chronic pain, and it's only draw-back is the size of the Magna Mat itself. Sure, it has 88 magnets... but the mat is of a size that it would take 4 of them to cover my Queen sized matress, or at least 3 to give a decent coverage for a solo sleeper. So if you work it out price-wise... it works out a similar price to the more fancy units you see on TV. however, if your pain is localised, this is a far more cost-effective option, since you need only buy 1 mat and position it where the pain is, instead of magnetising your whole body, and perhaps making a relatively small condition worse by screwing with the entire circulatory system.
