What the Bleep!? - Down the Rabbit Hole product reviews

"What the Bleep - Down the Rabbit Hole" is an Extended and Enhanced Director's Cut of "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" It includes new scientific findings that supplement the original movie, and it goes more deeply into the concepts explored.

The new film features an hour of new interviews (95 percent of all interviews have not been seen before), two new scientists; Dean Radin, Ph.D., and Dr. Masaru Emoto, as well as author of The Field, Lynne McTaggart; it also introduces Dr. Quantum in 20 minutes of new animation. It is a detailed exploration of the links between quantum mechanics, neurobiology, human consciousness and day-to-day reality.

Whilst incorporating the journey of photographer Amanda (Marlee Matlin) as she slowly changes her life, more time is given to in-depth interviews with sixteen of the world's top physicists, engineers, physicians, biologists, researchers, journalists and mystics, who talk about consciousness, Psi research, physics, biology, emotion and addictions. The film's power and magic lies in the fact that it really makes us understand how human beings are connected to each other - to the whole universe - and how we all affect reality.

DVD Features:
    •  DISCS 1&2 - Extended DVD version (5hrs)
    •  DISC 3 - Theatrical version & trailer
    •  DISCS 4&5 - Supplemental materials (5 hours of extra content; full-length scientist interviews)

This was a very interesting and thought provoking DVD.

The main storyline follows the changing attitudes of a particular girl toward herself and toward others. It is quite humorous and covers many areas of insecurity and trust that a lot of everyday people could readily identify with.

Some of the speakers were quite credible and what they had to say was intrigueing. I found one speaker a little over the top and her approach seemed to me like a pseudo science wannabe psychic.

I felt the mocking stance toward religion that was inserted in places was unneccessary, and perhaps insulting to the audience's intelligence. Do we need such blatant attempts to program our opinion? This was only a small element of the DVD, and shouldn't put anyone off watching for the bigger picture. But it did remind me of some politicians whose only means of appearing bigger is to try to tear down someone else...
Truth will defend itself and stand the test of time.

There is a lot in this, and if nothing else it should inspire a humble and enquiring mind to further question the nature of the reality in which they live. And the degree to which the intentions and actions of an individual shape the reality they experience. As with many recent findings in the field of quantum physics, it challenges us right at the edges of what possibilities we might be prepared to allow...do some research - you might be surprised.

Final conclusion - definitely worth a watch.
Be prepared to be open minded, and take or leave bits according to your own judgement.

I honestly did not think the original movie could get much better... but I am glad to have been proven wrong. This massively expanded version is far more in-depth and insightful, bringing new information and evidence to the fore. Modernised and updated, the interviews with leading scientists and metaphysics notaries are mind-numbing and totally absorbing.

I loved the new additions, especially Dr Quantum. It highlighted for me the concept that "Mind over Matter" is an understatement akin to calling the Eiffel Tower a "novelty toothpick"... it's more a case of "Mind over Reality" where your attitude towards life really can affect, in a truly fundamental way, the outcome of events around you.

Quantum Physics has, at it's core, some fundamental axioms, one of them being that there are an infinite array of "possibles", all the potential outcomes of an event are all equally 'real' until The Observer makes the act of observation, collapsing all the "possibles" down into one "actual"... eliminating all the other "maybe" outcomes from the 'real world'.

This is where a trained and aware mind can affect the world around it, by taking actions that enhance a particular "maybe", giving it a better chance of being the "actual" reality, or by visualising the outcome one desires and working with 'reality' to make that outcome the final solution. Though it may sound easy, it's not... I have tried to simplify what is actually a long and lengthy process of self-realisation, so please forgive me if it comes across that way.

Overall, I was stunned to watch this again and see all the new information that has come to light since the first movie aired back in 2005. With a LOT more content, and packaged up into a 5-disc set, you would be wise to consider this small investment in your future, happier, empowered self. Tony Robins, eat your heart out! Of special note would be Dr Amit Goswami - there's something about this chap that really resonated with me. I hope to discover more of his work.

Product image for BeetlejuiceWhat's a yuppie ghost couple to do when they're quaint New England home is overrun by trendy New Yorkers? They hire a freelance bioexorcist to spook the intruders. And everyone gets more than he, she or it bargained for! Michael Keaton stars as Beetlejuice. He's a juggernaut of jokes, jolts and jive who hurls oneliners, spins into grotesque forms, gobbles insects and can't leave ladies living or dead alone. Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder share starring honours. Say the B word three times and have a wonderful DayO!
