Noam Chomsky is internationally regarded as one of the world's most significant thinkers, and the clarity and wisdom with which he sees the world we all share is powerful.

In this book, a collection of interviews with David Barsiaman we are exposed to Chomsky's thoughts and perspectives on a wide range of issues in a post 9/11 context. On that day in 2001 most people realised that the world had just changed forever, but to what extent it will change is still to be seen.

Chomsky takes us on a journey of understanding through the world since 9/11, and shows us a perspective of global events that is both exciting and chilling. He takes us behind the rhetoric and mis-information of modern commercial media to the truth behind the imperial ambitions of the USA.

If you want to begin to understand where our world is heading this book is a must-read. In short and easy to understand, yet intellectually sound sections Barsamian takes us into the mind of one of the most important men of our time, and shows us where we are heading.
