Having found the movie to be stunning, and never having read the books, I found this audiobook a wonderful insight into the original storyline. Not often one to read a book after seeing the movie, the chance to sit back and relax and listen to the wonderfully cultured, amazingly adaptable vocal talents of Stephen Fry. (Though I do feel his Hagrid sounds more like John Cleese!)
Overall, if you are a Harry Potter fan who has their hands full often, or has a long drive to and from work each day, you should consider this 8 CD set, as it will provide you with many hours of relaxing, hands-free entertainment.
