The story follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn't hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.

My favourite genre of film or television series has got to be comedy. I personally think I have a very broad sense of humor, and thoroughly enjoy sitting down with snacks and having a good laugh. Watching a good comedy makes me forget about the day's stresses or bothers. Ever since first watching That 70's Show and seeing Mila Kunis portraying her character extremely well, I realized she is a talented actress and I eagerly await any new screen work she is involved in.
When I saw the chance to review Bad Moms 2 I quickly submitted my request and crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Once I found out my request had been successful I started getting excited and kept checking the mail each day. Once I received the DVD the anticipation to watch the movie grew. The front cover does not give much away regarding the story-line, but the look on the moms faces are priceless. The back of the DVD case gives a glimpse of some of the crazy antics that ensue throughout the movie. I had thoroughly enjoyed the first Bad Moms movie so had high hopes that I wouldn't be let down by this sequel.
I sat down and watched Bad Moms 2 with my partner who laughed a few times, but I do not think it was his ideal movie hehe. Throughout the movie I was constantly laughing and I felt the plot of the movie was well thought out and flowed effortlessly. I loved how the film made me feel like it is OK to not be the polite, perfect mother that society tends to portray that all mothers should fit into. This film mainly has a cast of strong female characters. The actresses that play the three younger mothers are so well suited for their roles and I found it easy to relate to different attributes each one had. The story-line is immensely entertaining and lighthearted. During the film each of the three main characters has their own story-line happening with their own mothers.
I personally highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a funny, un-politically correct look at moms during the stressful Christmas period. I was constantly in a fit of giggles and believe anyone that loves comedy should give this a watch. I hope that there will be another film in the series.
