Product reviews...
Ever since I stopped doing my fitness routine on a regular basis, my abs have become quite weak, aggravating my lower back problem. This has caused all sorts of flow-on problems to arise, giving me serious concerns for my health. When I started back into getting fit again, I noticed my lower back was far more prone to pain during abdominal strengthening routines than ever before, unless I used The Bean which provided some great support, but it didn't give me the opportunity to really give my abs a hard workout. That's where the Ab Swing came in handy.
Easy to unpack and assemble, and even easier to use, the Ab Swing has been a wonderful piece of fitness equipment to use. By simply adjusting where on the seat I place myself, I can fine-tune the workout to suit my level of back pain at the time. When the tendons are pinging and causing pain, I sit further back on the seat, thus reducing the amount of effort required, and when my back is feeling pain-free, I can sit further forward, ahead of the pivot point, thus increasing the workload and giving me that satisfying endorphin burn.
This has not only helped me regain a good level of fitness, but has also improved my posture dramatically... I don't look 7 months pregnant any more... and that is a great thing for a male. I was impressed at the way I can adjust the workout, the number of variations I could throw in to target the laterals, and the best bit... it can all be done in front of the TV and it's quiet enough that you won't be deafening the neighbours to hear Shortland Street over the equipment... brilliant.
Overall, a very handy piece of fitness equipment, and a welcome addition to any home gym. Even if you just want something you can unpack around the holiday season, to help burn a few hundred extra calories you snacked onto your frame, this is a great option. It folds down into quite a compact package, easily tucked into a wardrobe, under the bed, or some other out-of-the-way corner, yet is strong and durable in every aspect. Comes with everything you need, right in the box... no tools required either! A wonderful machine, simple yet effective, you'll know it's working mere moments after you try it.
