While I was pregnant with my first child I had decided I was going to try use cloth nappies. I liked the idea of not having to constantly pay for nappies that just end up at the landfills, and take years and years to breakdown. However once the baby arrived and reality set in, I realized that I would be using both reusable and disposable nappies. This was due to several factors including weather for drying nappies, sheer volume of nappies that we went through daily, and ease of disposables while in town or not at home.
I purchased a packet of Huggies and a packet of Treasures initially to see which would work best for us. In the end we decided that we were better suited with Treasures nappies because we found them more absorbent. I also like that Treasures is unisex unlike Huggies. The grip tabs that secure the nappy closed are very sticky and strong, so are ideal overnight. I love to support New Zealand companies and buy New Zealand made products whenever possible, another positive factor of Treasures nappies for me.
With three children still in nappies I will always go for the best deal I can find. At Countdown I can usually pick up one of these Jumbo Junior boxes for between $20-$30 which I think is reasonable for 56 nappies. Inside the box is two separate packs of 28 nappies. I find the nappies are super absorbent, fit well on my children so they don't leak through, and more importantly are gentle on their skin. I have only had one bad experience where there were crystals left from a bad batch of nappies that couldn't absorb, Treasures replaced them. The children also like the fact that there are Hairy Maclary characters to look at on the nappy. The sizing of these Jumbo Junior nappies is very generous, my 5 year who weighs 19kg still fits them well, as does my 14kg son with no problems. Treasures also have an added incentive to buy in the form of Treasures Rewards codes. These codes are found on the packs inside and can be redeemed for prize draws and products.
I highly recommend Treasures Jumbo Junior nappies to all parents who want a reliable nappy that isn't too expensive and is gentle on the skin of their precious child.

Preparing and serving food several times a day means that kitchen bench tops can become messy rather quickly. A stone bench top is porous and can absorb any liquids which come into contact with it. In order to preserve the seal and finish you need to ensure you use a non-acidic cleaner such as Ajax Spray n' Wipe Baking Soda Stone Safe.
To Clean simply spray onto surface then wipe clean with a damp sponge or cloth. No need to rinse.
