Dreamland : Piranha product reviews

Dreamland is a cutting-edge weapons research facility in the Nevada desert - home to some of the world's finest pilots and an elite combat unit that operates directly at the command of the US President.

The Dreamland team fly to the South China Sea amid growing tensions between India and China. A Chinese freighter has been sunk by an unknown submarine-launched missile. Using Piranha, an experimental underwater probe, they begin to gather information on the mystery weapon. But events turn unexpectedly deadly, and the men and women of Dreamland must put their own lives on the line to keep the peace - while a shadowy force looks on, hell-bent on provoking a full-blown crisis

Well, well, well, Mr Brown, you manage to suprise me, yet again.
The best book in the series as yet, though it does have the odd sentimental touch. Sadly, it is shown to the reader that the unbeatable, invincible WHIPLASH team is not as invincible as they would like to think, with the loss of a couple of characters.
None the less, Brown kept the action rolling along smoothly, with a few twists and turns in the road, some minor, some major.
Evidently, the author's talent has not run dry with the level of realism in this marvelous text rising, along with the re-readability and the lose track of time factors.
Sadly, the latter got me in a little trouble when I simply couldn't put this book down at school, and I now have a little less lunch time this week.
Nevertheless a sacrifice I'd make for this book, a great read. I just hope the authors keep it up during the rest of the series.
